Woman's Choice Perinatal Services presents its newly improved Birth Doula Training! This training is designed for aspiring doulas who want to learn the essential basics of being a doula without feeling overwhelmed. WCPS firmly believes in the power of knowledge and simplicity. Unlike many other programs that are loaded with unnecessary requirements and material, this training focuses on what truly adds value. WCPS' curriculum covers the need-to-know basics, ensuring that you feel prepared and confident to start your business supporting clients. You will learn about the physiology of birth, emotional and physical support techniques, and effective communication strategies. You will also learn the basics of business and doula work with live virtual mentorship as an included part of this training. The mentorship is the prized area of this training. Offering students a deeper connection to the learning process; and is what will help take students learning over the top. WCPS also emphasizes creating a calming and supportive environment, advocating for your clients' needs, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals. This training is designed to get you off to a great start without feeling confused or alone. By the end of the program, you will be well-prepared to begin your career as a birth doula, providing compassionate care and empowering birthing individuals to have positive and fulfilling birth experiences. Optional hands-on skills workshops will be available periodically for an additional fee. Upon completion of this program, you will be certified for a lifetime as a WCPS Birth Doula!
